
NEW HOLLAND, OH — Thanks to the Village of New Holland, the Culpepper & Merriweather Circus is rolling into town on Friday, May 23rd, for an unforgettable day of excitement, thrills, and classic big-top fun.
The traveling circus, a favorite in communities across the country for over 40 years, will set up at Village Park, located at 9 Bloomingburg & New Holland Road, offering two shows at 5:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. under the big top. Known for its authentic, one-ring circus experience, C&M has been featured on A&E’s Nick News and OETA’s Big Top Town.
This year’s brand-new 2025 performance features a variety of acts that promise to captivate audiences of all ages. Highlights include:
- Big Cats presented by Trey Key
- Aerialist Extraordinaire Simone on the trapeze
- Perez Daredevil Duo on the Tight Rope and Wheel of Destiny
- High-energy juggling by the Macias family
- Contortionist Miss Ursula
- And everyone’s favorite: Circus Clown Leo Acton
Schedule of Events
- 9:30 a.m. – Tent Raising & Tour
The public is invited to watch the Big Top go up and take a behind-the-scenes tour to learn about the circus animals and life on the road. - 4:00 p.m. – Midway Opens
Families can enjoy pony rides, moon bounce, giant slide, face painting, games, and concessions. - 5:00 & 7:30 p.m. – Circus Performances
Each show lasts about 90 minutes and is packed with thrills and family-friendly entertainment.
