Three Injured in Crash in Circleville on December 28th

CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred on December 28, 2024, around 6 p.m. at the intersection of Pickaway Street and another local road.

According to the Circleville Police Department, a 17-year-old driver was heading southbound on Pickaway Street when they stopped at a stop sign but failed to yield the right of way. The teen’s 2005 Honda Accord collided with a 2001 Chevy Silverado driven by 19-year-old Forrest Mumaw of Circleville.

Both drivers sustained injuries in the crash. Mumaw was transported by emergency responders to Berger Hospital in Circleville for treatment. The driver of the Honda Accord declined medical attention at the scene. A passenger in the Chevy Silverado was also taken to the hospital for evaluation and care.

The accident remains under investigation, and no further details have been released at this time. Police are reminding drivers to always yield at stop signs to prevent accidents and ensure road safety.
