According to Trump, both leaders reflected on the historical alliance between the United States and Russia, particularly during World War II, and expressed a mutual desire to end the ongoing war in Ukraine. Trump revealed that the two leaders agreed to work closely together, even expressing interest in visiting each other’s nations.
