FAIRFIELD COUNTY, OH – The Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrests of two Lancaster men in connection with the May 24, 2024, shooting death of Bradd Johnson Jr. at 8210 Pleasantville Road.
Sheriff Alex Lape reported that Granville “Tuna” Gibson, 43, and Shawn “Waldo” Mongold, 44, have been taken into custody and face multiple charges related to the fatal shooting.
Charges Against Granville “Tuna” Gibson:
- 2 counts of aggravated murder (ORC 2903.01 – unclassified felony)
- 2 counts of murder (ORC 2903.02 – unclassified felony)
- 1 count of aggravated robbery (ORC 2911.01 – first-degree felony)
- 1 count of aggravated burglary (ORC 2911.11 – first-degree felony)
- 2 counts of having weapons under disability (ORC 2923.13 – third-degree felony)
Charges Against Shawn “Waldo” Mongold:
- 1 count of aggravated murder (ORC 2903.01 – unclassified felony)
- 1 count of murder (ORC 2903.02 – unclassified felony)
- 1 count of aggravated robbery (ORC 2911.01 – first-degree felony)
- 1 count of aggravated burglary (ORC 2911.11 – first-degree felony)
