Two Seriously Injured in Semi-Truck Crash on US-23 in Pickaway County

PICKAWAY COUNTY, OH — A serious crash involving a semi-truck left two people injured at the intersection of US-23 southbound and SR-762 on Tuesday afternoon.

According to early reports, the crash occurred around 2 p.m. when a semi-truck caused a rear-end collision in the intersection. The driver of a Kia sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. A child who was in the back seat suffered serious injuries and was transported to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus for further care.

Authorities shut down the roadway for approximately one hour while emergency crews responded to the scene. Charges against the semi-truck driver are pending, and officials are continuing their investigation.
