
CIRCLEVILLE, OH – Music lovers in Central Ohio are in for a treat as The Jazz Ambassadors of the U.S. Army Field Band bring their world-renowned sound to Ohio Christian University for a free concert on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. The event, held at the Ministry & Performing Arts Center in Circleville, is free and open to the public with doors opening at 6:30 p.m.
Known as “America’s Big Band,” the Jazz Ambassadors are the premier touring jazz orchestra of the United States Army. Formed in 1969, this 19-piece ensemble has captivated audiences across all 50 states and around the world with their dynamic performances of America’s original art form—jazz.
Concertgoers can expect a versatile program featuring classic big band standards, instrumental and vocal solo features, patriotic favorites, contemporary jazz pieces, and original compositions by past and present members of the band.
The Jazz Ambassadors have performed alongside prestigious ensembles such as the Boston Pops, National Symphony, Pittsburgh Symphony, and Seattle Symphony and have graced the stage at venues including Carnegie Hall and major international jazz festivals in Montreux, Newport, Toronto, Brussels, and the Netherlands.
