FAIRFIELD COUNTY – Fairfield County K9 Lupo had a scare last night when searching for a suspect fell through a floor into a basement full of water
According to Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office, K9 Deputy Lupo and Deputy Mann were searching for a burglary in progress suspect when Lupo fell through the floor into a basement about 7 feet full of water. Deputy Mann went in after his partner to rescue. Several other officers came to the aid of the officer and his partner K9.
Officer said that they took a hose bath in the backyard due to the extreme smell from the water in the basement.
