UPDATE – Head-On Collision in Pickaway County Injures Two People

PICKAWAY COUNTY, OH – Two people were injured in a head-on collision in Pickaway County on January 9, 2025, with one person suffering serious injuries.

The crash occurred around 8:00 AM on London Road, near the address of 18784. According to authorities, a 2008 Chevy Silverado, driven by a juvenile, was heading north on the road when the driver encountered a snow drift. The juvenile then drove through the drift and crossed into the opposite lane, where the vehicle collided head-on with a 2003 Ford F-350 driven by Bill Paige, 54, of Circleville.

The collision caused disabling damage to both vehicles. Emergency responders transported the occupants from both vehicles to local hospitals. The juvenile, from Orient, reported minor injuries and was taken to Berger Hospital. Paige, who sustained serious injuries, was transported to Mt. Carmel Grove City for treatment.

The juvenile driver has been charged in connection with the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
