Fairfield County – One person is dead and another has been charged with murder after a shooting in Fairfield county
According to the Fairfield County sheriff’s office, they received a 911 call at 1:52 pm on Sunday of a person shot in the area of 220 block of South Broad Street in Breman. When they arrived they found one man with a gunshot wound.
Emergency aid was administered by Deputies, then by Medics, but the man succumbed to the injuries.
One man, 57-year-old Mark Burrows has been arrested and charged with murder, but details surrounding the case may find him to be in self-defense according to witnesses. He is currently being held in Fairfield County jail. We will update with more information when its available.
