Circleville – One person was taken to the local hospital after crashing her vehicle in downtown Circleville, witnesses say that the driver was driving recklessly through town.
According to the police department, several witnesses reported that the woman driving the grey Scion was driving on two tires and two rims from Amanda to Circleville before the crash. One witness told Sciotopost that the woman was traveling eastbound on Main Street when she attempted to pass everyone waiting at the Court Street Main Street light before she rear-ended a Grey Toyota Tundra and then rolled over.
Circleville Police confirmed those details and said that the Scion ran the red light crashing into the truck before the rollover. The driver was transported to Ohio Health Berger with minor injuries.
Speculation on possible impairment has been raised, not necessarily drugs or alcohol but possibly medical.
The intersection was closed down for a short time due to the local Scioto Valley towing company being close to the area.
