Lancaster, Ohio — A single-vehicle crash into a residence on North Pierce Avenue occurred late Saturday night, prompting a response from the Lancaster Police Department.
At approximately 11:20 p.m. on August 24, 2024, a vehicle driven by 19-year-old Dakota Cook of Lancaster collided with a home in the 1000 block of North Pierce Avenue. Cook was life-flighted to Grant Hospital and is reported to be in stable condition. The crash caused significant structural damage to the residence, but fortunately, no occupants of the home were injured.
The Lancaster Police Department’s Crash Reconstruction Team has investigated the scene, and the roadway is now open to traffic. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
