USA – Carter County Sheriffs office has confirmed that Dale EarnHeardt Jr. plane has crashed at the Elizabethton Municipal Airport. Five people were on board including Dale EarnHeardt Jr, his wife Amy, and daughter Isla were in the plane. Two pilots also escaped and the family dog. All were taken to hospital to be checked out but only had minor injuries.

I can confirm Dale, Amy & Isla along with his two pilots were involved in a crash in Bristol TN this afternoon. Everyone is safe and has been taken to the hospital for further evaluation. We have no further information at this time. Thank you for your understanding.
