Walmart has announced a new annual bonus program for eligible full- and part-time hourly associates in Ohio, with approximately 23,000 associates eligible for the program. To qualify, associates must have been employed with the company for at least one year.
In addition to the bonus program, Walmart has launched three other initiatives to invest in its associates:
- Associate to Technician program: a new program providing training and pathways for front-line associates to move into higher-paying technician jobs in stores and supply chain facilities, addressing the skilled trade labor shortage.
- Live Better U (LBU) benefit expansion: doubling the number of skills certificates available to fast-track associates into higher-paying jobs.
- Total Pay & Benefits feature in the Me@Walmart app: allowing associates to easily view their pay, benefits, and more.
