Walmart Removes Ammo and Guns from Stores for “Civil Unrest” worries

Walmart says they are removing all guns and ammo from stores after some looting has occurred after riots the past few months.

“We have seen some isolated civil unrest and as we have done on several occasions over the last few years, we have moved our firearms and ammunition off the sales floor as a precaution for the safety of our associates and customers,” Walmart said in a statement emailed to The Associated Press on Thursday.

Walmart did not comment on when those items will return. The store sells ammo and gun in about half of its national stores.
