Warren Brewer Jr.
April 14, 1960 — July 19, 2024
Warren E. Brewer Jr., age 64 of Lenore, WV, went to meet his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday July 19, 2024, as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born April 14, 1960, in Jenkins, KY to Warren and Joyce (Evans) Brewer Sr. He was a graduate of Lenore High School and a proud member of the class of 1979. Warren spent the past 20-plus years working in the coal mines of West Virginia. In his retirement, he became a full-time papaw to his five grandchildren – spoiling them every step of the way. He was a veteran of the US Army National Guard. For the past seven years, he attended and became a member of the the Royalton Community Church.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Dawn (Stepp) Brewer; children, Warren Ezra and Patty Brewer III, of Lenore, WV, Airrielle and Casey Douglas, of Columbus, and Nicholas and Mariah Brewer, of Lenore, WV; grandchildren, Miles, Luke, Lillian, Iris, and Oliver; beloved brother, Okey (Teresa) Brewer, of Lenore, WV; nephew, Hobart Evans Brewer, of Florida; many nieces and nephews and countless other stray and adopted children. He is preceded in death by his parents and two very dear friends, Arthur Lee Marcum and Anzie Brewer.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the Royalton Community Church, 515 Amanda Northern Road, Amanda, Ohio 43102 with Pastor Larry Horn officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Church. Inurnment will be held at a later date in the family cemetery in Lenore, WV.
Warren was a man who knew no strangers and we praise God that He placed “strangers” around him to help him in his final moments. Warren’s family would like to thank all those who ministered to him and showed compassion to him in his hour of need.
