WILLIAMSPORT, OH – Village of Williamsport officials have reported an emergency water leak affecting S. Water St. across from the Post Office and N. Water St. As a result, water service on Water Street has been shut off until repairs are completed.
Officials have not provided an estimated time for when the issue will be resolved but assure residents that updates will be provided as the situation develops.
Once water service is restored, a boil advisory will be in effect. Residents are urged to boil all drinking and cooking water until further notice. The village will announce when the boil alert has been lifted and water is safe for consumption.
