OHIO – Fireworks are firing off in different areas this weekend here’s where they are all at.
FAYETTE COUNTY – Fire in the sky fireworks not for profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization which is comprised of more than 25 dedicated volunteer members serving the community has announced its event for Fayette County on July 3, 2023.
Fire In The Sky 2023 will be on Monday, July 3rd at approximately 10:00 PM. Fire In The Sky is presented to the public free of charge and performed at the Fayette County Fairgrounds in Washington Court House.
Fire In The Sky was formed in 2001 under the sponsorship of the Washington fire fighters association and Local 699. the need for an Independence Day fireworks display became necessary after the local Jaycees discontinued operations. Since then the team has been lighting up the sky with their event.

Lancaster-Fairfield County 4th of July CelebrationParade Time: 10:00 AMFrom 12:30 (after parade) until 10 pm the fairgrounds is alive with amusements, Rides-Rides and more Rides, also concessions (plenty of eats), and let us not forget entertainment including a secondary stage on the midway showcasing local talent. Craft Show – starting 2:00 p.m. under the grandstand.
Music from the Main Stage –The entertainment line-up is DJ Mike O’Riley at 4 pm, SlawDog at 6 pm, and Bad Influence at 8 pm until the fireworks at 10:00 p.m.

Pickaway County – Head to Ashville for the 4th of July festivities including all kinds of festival fun at the Ashville park, with free admittance, rides, and food cost extra of course, and the event runs all day and all weekend long. Around 8:30 Adam Calvert will take the stage and fireworks will happen at 10 pm fireworks are usually across from the Teays Valley High school.
Hocking County – The annual “Thunder In The Valley” fireworks spectacular is scheduled for Tuesday, July 4, 2023 on the Hocking College Campus. Parking is available at Hocking College, and plenty of seating is available on the fields and lots. No Parking will be permitted on Hocking Parkway or State Route 691. Hocking College has released a map for parking which is downloadable at https://tinyurl.com/22z8zm64. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted on the Hocking College Campus. The show can be viewed from most areas of Nelsonville as it lights up the hills of Southeast Ohio. The Nelsonville Division of Fire is selling VIP tickets for the 2023 “Thunder In The Valley” fireworks spectacular. VIP vehicle parking passes can be purchased for $10.00. If you prefer to walk to the fireworks, you can purchase a VIP walk-in pass for $3.00 per person. Do not wait until the last minute to purchase a VIP parking pass, there are only a limited number of passes available. VIP tickets can be purchased at the Nelsonville Fire Department. The VIP area will open at 5:00PM on July 4th.
