USA – Woolworth announced yesterday that they will offer a special hour to seniors and people with disabilities during early morning hours to help people get what they need.
Update: Woolworths are closed in the US this was just a cool idea, I wanted to turn into a story to maybe spark some conversation about our elderly in this time of need.
The company says they will launch today Monday March 16th till at least the ned of the week if not longer. Hours will be from 7 am to 8 am.
We’re launching a dedicated shopping hour in our stores to help support the needs of the elderly & people with disability in the community. From tomorrow until at least friday, we’ll be opening exclusively for them to shop from 7-8am, where permitted.
