CHILLICOTHE, OH – A new pizza destination has arrived in town, aiming to provide great value for families and pizza enthusiasts. Zanzis has officially opened its doors at 5 North Bridge Street in Chillicothe, marking its fifth location. The Ohio-based pizza chain also operates in Circleville, Grove City, Gallipolis, and Ashland, Kentucky.
Zanzis, founded to keep pizza prices affordable, was originally planning to open in Chillicothe in 2021, just before the pandemic-related shutdowns. The company focuses on controlling non-food costs to maintain low prices for quality pizza.
“Zanzis® believes the retail price of pizza products is rising too much, too fast. Many costs affect the retail price of pizza, including delivery, energy, utilities, facilities, and equipment. Our business model focuses on eliminating or controlling these non-food costs,” the company states.
Menu Highlights
Zanzis offers a variety of pizzas, including traditional options like pepperoni and cheese, as well as specialty pizzas such as Ultimate Pepperoni, 6 Topping Combo, All Meat, BBQ Chicken Supreme, and even a Mac n Cheese Pizza. In addition to pizza, the menu features wings, breadsticks, and salads.
One popular offering is the Sampler Combo, which includes two choices of breadsticks, cheese sticks, or Cinna Sticks, a sub (options include Buffalo Chicken, Chicken Bacon Ranch, Philly Steak, and more), and two pepperoni pizzas – all for around $20, enough to feed a family.
Hours of Operation
Zanzis is now open and welcomes customers during the following hours:
- Monday-Thursday: 11 AM – 9:30 PM
- Saturday-Sunday: 11 AM – 10:30 PM
